Anti-Ragging

Ragging is a form of abuse on a fresher or any student. It is banned by Supreme Court of India. It is inhuman, heinous, uncultured, unethical, Immoral & unacceptable.

Hence the management has taken following decisions to be implemented in college as per the government instruction.

Students are strictly warned not to resort to RAGGING activities in any form in the college campus.


1. Ragging in the college is completely banned and any student involved shall meet strict disciplinary action.
2. Our institution has formed Anti-Ragging cell headed by the Professors.
3. This cell functions actively from the Day-1.
4. A separate committee of senior students formed each year to assist the Anti-Ragging Cell. They act as the eyes and ears of the faculty. Besides they also educate their fellow students.
5. Every staff member is obliged to do this duty twice a month
6. Separate meetings are held with 1 st and 2 nd year students in very beginning of semester.
7. Formal interaction among 1 st and 2 nd year students in the presence of faculty is arranged.
8. Students mentor bodies are formed where a group of seniors, who motivates and inspire the fresher’s, and entrusted with the task of guiding and helping them.
9. Advise students not to Rag and also not to be a mute witness to Ragging.
