ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL (EDC)
The institution has established Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) to encourage the
students to become entrepreneurs. The EDC provides the following support to the student community:
1. The EDC organizes the project exhibition, creation of new ideas, to cope up business
competition, industrial visit, awareness camp, seminars and workshops, etc., which help the
students to become entrepreneurs.
2. The EDC guides and assists the prospective entrepreneurs on various aspects such as preparing
project proposals, obtaining project approvals, getting loans and facilities from agencies of
support system, acquiring information about recent etc.
3. The EDC inspires the students by making them aware of top entrepreneurs and their
achievements.
4. The EDC organizes continuous interaction with industry people in order to acquire the
knowledge of establishing the new company.

FACILITY:
1. With an aim to develop institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture in academic
institution to faster growth of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the faculty and
students.
2. Every year college is providing financial support to number of students for developing innovative
products. Apart from this financial support we are providing the mentoring and Infrastructural
support for these projects.
3. Our college is arranging so many classes and camps to promote technology based innovation
and entrepreneurship among the students.
MANAGEMENT:
1. The scope of small scale technology development is very high because many of the students are
from rural back ground and come with different innovative ideas.
2. Our management and empowered faculty members are trying to provide technology based
solutions to the problems faced by the students in developing the ideas and these efforts have
been streamlined through Entrepreneur and incubation centre of the cell.
EFFECTIVENESS IN ENCOURAGING ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INCUBATION:
1. We encourage the students and faculty to participate in Entrepreneur Development Program.
The institute has a Training and Placement Cell of its own. Over the years the college has helped
many of its students in finding better job opportunities and better enterprises to work in.
2. Our Training and Placement Cell encourages outgoing students to visualize the starting of their
own enterprises and become active contributors to the nation’s GDP.
