The Association of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of SIDDHARTHA INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY,IBP is started on 6th march 2013.

ABOUT ASSOCIATION

FUTURE ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION HUB-the ECE association is formed by the students of ECE department of SIET.

FETCH provides an intellectual platform for students and faculties of ECE department to share their ideas regarding all the concepts of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

FETCH is a group of talented and creative individuals who constantly ponder over technical abilities of circuit design and communication methodologies. It provides them a common platform to learn and build a technical career with the help of student community and other research professionals who are also the members of association.FETCH aims at bringing technical awareness among the student communities.It also aims at inculcating an interesting and innovative way for both students and researches to be in pace with recent trends in technologies.

Posting of new ideas,sharing about upcoming developments in different aspects of ECE and helps the students to go for higher qualifications in the disciplines and for research. FETCH also acts as interactive space to keep electronic engineers to upload their technical knowledge and reach higher levels in their specialisations.

ASSOCIATION STRUCTURE

FETCH-the ECE association is a group of talented and passionate engineers who have a wider view towards various spheres of life.FECTH is comprised of 5 clubs which have their own significance and specific functions.

The 5 clubs are

  • 2. CULTURAL CLUBS
  • 3. SPORTS CLUBS
  • 4. HELPING HANDS CLUBS
  • 5. GADGET GANG

1. TECHNICAL CLUBS

This club is the heart of the association which focuses on all the technical apects pertaining to students ,faculties and researchers.This club is headed by 2 student coordinators and a faculty member.Arranging Guest lectures by eminent academicians and industry professionals,Organising workshops ,assisting and preparing students for paper presentations ,conferences etc are the important functions of the club.The technicalclub emphasizes on practical aspects of imparting technical knowledge to students .

2. CULTURAL CLUBS

The club of FETCH is one which helps to promote and encourage creative talents of students .The various activities taken up by this department are singing,dancing,mime,mimicry,painting,JAM etc.

This club is also headed by two student coordinators and a faculty member and is indulged in focusing to help the students to participate in college fests.

3. SPORTS CLUBS

The sports club of of FETCH is the most energetic and recreating club.It is an active part of the association which emphasizes on encouraging different indoor and outdoor games .the sports club organizes inter branch and inter college tournaments every year.

The SCL-Siddhartha cricket league is one prominent event organised by the sports club of ECE.SCL has been organizing and conducting the inter college cricket tourment successfully since 2 years.

4. HELPING HANDS CLUBS

The Helping hands club of FETCH is the compassionate club of the association .This club focuses on offering help and support to needy people in the society,and also offers to help orphan students and oldage members providing them essential amenities .This club also iniates the students to write exams on behalf of blind and handicapped students.

5. GADGET GANG

One of the most dynamic club of FETCH which constantly brings awareness in the students and faculties of the association.The gadget gang is group of technically oriented students who are in constant search of recent technologies and developments in the electronics engineering .it helps students in focusing on new gadgets ,their usage , features and availability in the market are their prime focus.

The association thus caters to all round development to rise to higher intellectual levels in their caters .All the clubs of the association focuses on all the areas of interest essential for students to reach a greater level in their lives.
